My Client is a leading Freight & Logistics Company based on the outskirts of Limerick City.
The successful candidate will report internally directly to the newly appointed Financial Controller of the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:

Issuing invoices & statements
-
Allocating receipts, following up on queries with customers

Liaising with Operations on queries
-
Credit Control, updating Credit Safe (credit control)
-
Working with colleagues to further develop the ERP and efficiencies around it
Accounts Payable:
-
Automated A/P system in place
-
Creating A/P payments
-
Reconciling statements
-
Following up on missing invoices & queries
-
Liaising with Operations and colleagues to further develop systems & efficiencies.
End of month process:
-
Including some reconciliation work
-
Assisting of tax returns
-
Liaising with auditors & other stakeholders
-
Being involved in all ad hoc projects, which seem to happen every other day
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
-
2 years+ experience in similar role
-
Comfortable operating in a face-paced environment, working effectively to deadlines.

Ability to work off own initiative and willingness to take on ad-hoc projects while also operating within a team environment

Strong systems experience including cloud based accounting software experience, in addition to good Microsoft Office experience (Excel/Word).

Excellent communication skills
