Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding Mid-West Commercial Cleaning Company as their new Accountant / Experienced Accounts Assistant. My Client prides themselves on their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, and they are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee their financial operations and contribute to their continued success (Over 40 Years in Business).

Position: Accountant / Experienced Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the accounting system and books of record on a day-to-day basis.
  • Handle invoicing customers and maintain client relationships.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and ensure timely collections.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT) and manage all tax-related matters.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting in collaboration with external auditors.

  • We’re seeking a confident, hands-on, and self-motivated individual who is eager to make a direct impact on the overall position of the business.
  • Work in close proximity with the External Company Accountant.
  • Separate in-house Employee charged with payroll for 100 + Employees.

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without Visa Restrictions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as AITI, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA preferential but not essential
  • Proven 5 + Years experience in a similar financial management role, preferably within a commercial or service-oriented industry.
  • Irish Experience essential to the role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Salary & Benefits:

  • €35,000 – 45,000 DOE
  • Benefits: Parking Onsite. Hybrid Working & Private Healthcare (After Probation)
