A leading professional services firm in Waterford is looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Senior Accountant for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, successful and supportive Corporate Finance team. This role will be offered on a Permanent basis with an attractive salary. The successful applicant will be reporting to a management team of Partners and Managers, working towards the achievement of departmental goals and targets.
This is a key role within their growing Corporate Finance team. The role requires a candidate with experience of the Irish market from Mergers and Acquisitions, Transaction Advisory Services, Valuations and Raising Capital & Business Planning.
An overview of the type of work involved includes:
- Preparation of Detailed Financial Models and Due Diligence
- Assistance with the Preparation of Business Plans
- Working on Sale and Purchase Mandates, MBO and MBI assignments
- Preparation of Valuation Reports
- Dealing with Debt and Equity Raisings
- Liaising with Clients, Financial Institutions and other Parties
- Preparation of Presentations and briefing materials
- Manage multiple assignments & meeting agreed deadlines
The role will be offered as a Hybrid basis after successfully passing the probationary period of 6 Months.
Competencies Required:
To be successful in this job candidates should have
- Previous Experience in a similar role (Essential)
- ACA, ACCA or CFA Qualification as well as 2+ years Post Qualified Experience (PQE) an advantage
- A keen interest in a wide range of business sectors including Pharmacy, Retail, Food & Beverage, and Emerging Tech Businesses
- Have an Analytical mindset
- Strong Communication skills.
- Great team working skills and an ability to show flexibility when faced with new challenges
